Peter J. Blackburn presents workshops that explore photographic printmaking methods and processes from bygone days. Classes in cyanotype, gum bichromate, casein bichromate, acetone transfer, medium format film, and more.

These workshops will be of particular interest to artists and photographers at all skill levels, including printmakers and creative connoisseurs wishing to investigate new approaches in their work.

Come and enjoy amazingly simple film cameras from the 1950s, expose a roll of film, and create expressive, inexpensive acetone transfer prints on fine art papers, which can remain in classic black and white or be hand-colored. The techniques suggested require no darkroom, no prior experience, and are straightforward to learn. This workshop will be of particular interest to photographers of all skill levels, printmakers, and artists wishing to investigate new approaches to their work.
